Corey,
Today was a tough one but so glad to be able to celebrate your wonderful 22 years of life with all the people you touched the lives & hearts of. 
You meant more to me than I ever expressed to you and as each day passes it only gets harder to imagine life without you in it.  Your last text messages to me said it all, you considered me one of your best friends and you cared for me so much. I’m so sorry I never ever imagined I wouldn’t be able to respond to you...but here goes. I’m so proud of the person I came to know last July. You brought so much joy to the life of Avery, Alanna & myself. You helped me in ways that no one else could or would and for that I am deeply thankful. I love you bud and I promise to look out for Kailynn, Anne & ur dad forever. You have a piece of my heart up there with you in heaven and I can’t wait to see that invigorating smile of yours again and not just in pictures. Every time I think of u it brings tears to my eyes, but joy to my heart. You were one of a kind Corey Winn!!!! We love and miss you and will NEVER forget you for the rest of our lives. Xo. 

Thank you for all the memories , majority of my childhood was spent with you and other neighborhood kids. We used to go skating and adventure all around the area as kids. You were such a bright person , with a good heart. It gives me great grief that we never got to see each other again. Thank you for being my childhood best friend.

I was devastated to hear the passing of my former student. Corey I will always remember you as that strong willed 4th grader at Mandarin Oaks Elementary, that I cared for so much. I still remember you like it was yesterday. You were in my first class I taught when I started teaching 15 years ago. I see you grew up to be a handsome young man, a young man taken way too soon. Our hearts are shattered, and my thoughts are scattered... I'm so lost. Never in a million years did we think we would ever have to be faced with living in this world without you. From the moment you opened your little eyes I was in love! You were such a beautiful baby boy. I'm so blessed to have been chosen to be your mommy. The years we had watching you grow up  brought us so much joy and great memories.  I'm so proud of the man you have become. I know it's not for us to say when our time is up, that's in God's hands. Forgive me for being selfish, but I want you here with me! I was supposed to go before you. You should have had the chance to get married and have children of your own.  You would have been one helluva father! I feel so numb Corey. The only thing that keeps me going is being here for your brother, and knowing your in Heaven with God. I picture you up there with your Grandma's and Grandpa's, Aunts and Uncles.  I will forever miss you! Until the day we meet again..... I love you Corey Allen.

Rest easy brother. Thank you for loving Kailynn so much and always being kind to me when we saw eachother. Your smile and laugh was infectious and I know you touched many people. See you again one day, look over our baby sister and your family. 

I remember the day Sean and Holly came to my home and announced they were having a baby.Their second child. And Holly carrying  Corey in her arms months later, everyone commented on how much he looked like Sean. When Sean and Holly were married and the two boys shared in the celebration of their parents wedding, little boys so innocent of life so beautiful so loved a gift to share .My heart aches for the loss of Corey I know you all feel the pain the heart holds as we find our daily way to cope with his passing. I love you all and will hold you close in my prayers at a time when only our memories carry us .may all the blessings be with us .love .

        Sometimes it feels like the world is such a cruel and awful place to be in, but then I sit and think about how beautiful the world was to put you in it; and bless everyone with 22 years of amazing memories. I may not have been around in our adult years but it hurts all the same. I believe that people don’t really ever die, that they live on through stories and memories that people share, and memories never go away; and they never change. When we were kids we used to sit infront of the TV and watch Jurassic Park and twirl our gum in our fingers for hours; and to this day I have no clue if I actually taught you how to read or if you were pretending to make me feel better. You always went out of your way to make me feel apart of everything you and your friends did together. I looked up to you, I wanted to be just like you. I tried karate just because you did karate, I did so many other things that a little girl normally wouldn’t do just because I wanted to be like you so badly. This isn’t a ‘goodbye’, it is a ‘I will see you later’. One day I’ll get to see you again, and until then I will be thinking of you and missing you everyday.

My dear friend corey it saddens my heart to see u leave us at such a sad time and young age, we had some amazing memories together that we shared over the many years and had alot of fun examples including dirtbiking, bonfires, and even yes in our younger years kona skate park me, you, Chris, and sometimes Thomas would tag along on, im so grateful we got to have our pleasent conversation we did when I seen you as u were at the shop that Saturday as i was getting off work we did our bro-shake, said stay easy and finished up with a hug, i would of never thought that'd be our last time seeing each other but it was definitely one I'll cherish forever and take with me thank u for all the amazing memories, we didn't see us as best friends we were brothers we were (and still are) family 14+ years and continuously counting I love u broski, save a seat up there in heaven for when i see u again my dear friend love your brother (not by blood but bond) rock on soldier!, heaven gained a warrior and an angel love u bro!

I'll always remember your laugh your smile and I'd give anything to hear you say uncle T let's take the dirt bike's out to the mud hole. Now just rest. The Lord's got you. Love you and see you soon.

Corey I'm so sorry you left this life I'm thankful everyday that God gave me that one last chance to see you in Publix I hear Aunt Shawn I turn around to see your cute little face he gave me a hug and I'm grateful that I got that thank you Corey I love you rest in peace in heaven

Words can not say how truly sad i feel. Aunt Tree loves u very much. I think about u everyday. I know God has u and ur safe. But i miss u. I remember us talking and u made me smile when u hugged me and was like i can put my arms around u now. U always had such an amazing smile. I love you so much. You maybe gone but never will i forget how blessed i was to be ur auntie. And know that u have a forever home. Dance with grandma for me. Share jokes with grandpa for me. I know yal going to be talking about fishing lol. U will always hold a place in my heart love u. Love aunt tree.

I loved how your eyes lit up when you saw your family especially Kailynn your baby sister.  She truly was a light in your life, I loved seeing her run into your arms when she saw you!  Dad, Mom, Anna, Chris, Kailynn, Tyler, Pop & I  and many, many others lives you touched will forever have that one place in our hearts that belong to only you!!  We love you Buddy!! Please know that Kailynn loves you very dearly and cherishes everything y’all did together from fishing, swimming, going to the movies and just down right seeing you everyday. I thank you for giving her those memories to hold on to. Thank you for having private talks with me and of course as promised, I’ll take them with me. Life is often not fair as I am found of saying. This is an example of how fair it's not. I remember you as a teenager who did nothing but game, though you did get me to see the cooler side of Skyrim. And seeing you more recently as a hard-working man. The way you grew and the love you had for your family was so amazing. I will miss. And I wish you were still here with us. Please watch over your baby sister as she misses you more than anything. Love ya buddy.
