Clyde L. Thomas was born October 16, 1940 in Battle Creek Michigan, and was peacefully called to Heaven on May 14, 2019 in Jacksonville Florida.
Clyde proudly served in the United State Army during the Vietnam War from 1960 – 1962. He met the love of his life, his wife Patricia in San Bernardino, California in 1965 and they were married on September 5, 1966. Clyde worked in the grocery industry, holding several positions from night stockman to general manager throughout his career. Clyde was a devoted Catholic, assisting with Mass, administering communion to others in the hospital or nursing homes, and arranging a monthly craft day with other seniors. Clyde had a bright light and engaging spirit that made you feel at ease, safe and important when spending time together.
Clyde was devoted and loving to his wife Patricia and his two children, Robert & Angela. He was a wonderful grandfather to 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
