Clifford E. Beck, Sr., age 92, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2023, as a result of a fall during a his daily one-mile power walk, after his workout earlier that day (bench pressing sets of 100lbs.), and mowed the lawn. He passed doing what he loved best! Defying the laws of aging, being active and acting like a 40-year-old. And he was a Master of Nicknames, a trait that the proudly passed to his family.
Cliff was born in Siler City, North Carolina on April 29, 1930, to Lonnie and Lillian Beck. He proudly served in the Army, enjoyed a much-loved career in banking and thoroughly enjoyed 30 years of retirement—hunting, traveling, and seeing the world. Services will be held Greenlawn Cemetery, graveside at 10AM

Cliff is survived by his and two sons and daughter, Cliff Beck, Jr. (Champ) (wife-Mary and son Chris Pfab), Monte Beck (Luck) and Danease Beck (Princey); his three grandchildren, Jennifer Parker (Bopa-teen), Katrina Dembeck (Bopa) (husband-Jason) and Brandon Miller (Big Bud Podna) (wife-Jessica); two great grandchild Ashley Dembeck (Bopa 2) and Jake Smith; his five step-children, Lisa Matthews, David Fann (wife-Sandy), Michele Keplinger (husband-Curtis), Betty Zysek (husband-Mike), Alice Courtney-Hatcher; his eight step-grandchildren, Meghan Matthews, Travis Fann (wife-Samantha), Paige Malucci, Preston Rogers (Partner), Ryan Vernon, Adam Vernon, Reagan Vernon, Jessica Courtney-Hatcher; his step-great granddaughter Charley Jean Fann; and his beloved and amazing wife of 22 years Rosalie
Beck (Babe). He is also survived by his sister and brother, Allene Beck-Coltrane
(Sister) and Clyde Thomas Beck (Bosco) (wife-Doris Ann) and many nieces and nephews.
Cliff is predeceased by his first wife of 44 years, Geraldine Beck (his “Precious Jerry”); his granddaughter Ashley Miller; his Mother, Lillian Grey Scott-Beck; his father Lonnie Ernest Beck; his sister Doris Beck-Pearce; brother Welford Beck (Disco).
He was the “BESTEST Dadd-O in the World”, an AMAZING
Father, the World’s Best Papa, and a Loving Husband and will be
missed immensely by his entire family!
