Williams, Cleveland Enoch died peacefully, and joined his loving savior Thursday, September, 27, 2012, with many family and friends at his side. Predeceased by his parents, 3 brothers and 2 sisters, “Cleve” is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Willa Dean Williams, and his 3 children, Regina (Wayne) Raulerson, Sandra (Russell) O’Dell, and Steve (Cathy) Williams, and his loving sister Delores Moore. Additionally, “Papa” is survived by his grandchildren, Bobby Dale Peterson, Gary Baucom, and Amanda (Richard) Ellison, as well as 5 great-grandchildren, Bobby Shrowder, Savanna Baucom, Zachary Ellison, Brooklynn Ellison and Landon Ellison. Cleve proudly served his country during World War ll in the United States Army, and went on to careers at Florida East Coast Railway, and many years at NAS, Jacksonville. Cleve’s loves were his wife and family, his church - The Church at Sun Coast, his garden, fishing, NASCAR (Fords) and telling wonderful stories. The most often heard comment about the passing of Cleve Williams is “He was the finest man I ever met.” Visitation with family and friends will be held from 5-7 PM on Sunday, September 30, 2012, at Town and Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, 32205. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2012 at The Church at Sun Coast, 4200 Georgetown Dr., Jacksonville, 32210. Presiding will be Pastor Mike Gaylor and Pastor Larry McGinley. Interment will follow immediately at Riverside Memorial Park.
