Clarence, known for his friendly and talkative nature, was a true people person. He was a military-minded individual who served his country with honor and dedication. Clarence's military career spanned several branches, including the US Navy, US Air Force Reserves, and US Army Reserves, where he achieved the rank of E8 Master Sergeant.
In his civilian life, Clarence worked as a maintenance supervisor at the United States Postal Service for 27 years until becoming an Active-Duty Army Reservist in 2020. He was passionate about flying his drone and cars and spending time with his children and grandson.
Clarence is survived by his mother, Susie Lee; sister, Regina Lee; ex-wife and very good friend, Vanessa S. Calderon; daughters, Brianna S. Calderon Lee and Dominique G. Lemon-Lee; son, Keano M. Calderon Lee; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Clarence Leroy Lee.
Hardage Giddens Riverside Memorial Garden and Funeral Home in Jacksonville, Florida, is assisting with the arrangements. Clarence will be remembered for his dedication to his country, work ethic, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Clarence will be held Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Friday, June 21, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Rivermead Funeral Home, 127 Blanding Boulevard, Orange Park, FL 32073.
