Christine Saulter El-Hassan (64) of Jacksonville, Florida passed away peacefully at her home with her daughter Sabrina by her side on December 11, 2020. Born September 29, 1956 in Jacksonville, Florida. She was known by everyone to have the kindest and sweetest spirit. She was a loving and devoted daughter, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.
She received her GED in 1999. She had various career adventures which included owning and operating The Corner Deli, and Lieutenant of Security at Jacksonville International Airport. Her hobbies and passions in life were spending time with family, cooking, reading, swimming and traveling.
She is preceded in death by her parents Robert H. Saulter and Ruth Hines; her son Jalal S. El-Hassan Jr.; father to her children Jalal S. El-Hassan, sister Linda Saulter Goad and son-in-law Robert A. Hecht, Jr.
She is survived by her children Rougina E. Hecht, Sabri J. El-Hassan, Sabrina J. El-Hassan and David J. El-Hassan; grandchildren Sabri J. El-Hassan, Jr., Gabriel R. Hecht and Jasmine R. Hecht; siblings Wayne (Karen) Saulter, Grace Jennings, Sharon Martin, Ronnie Hines and Connie Hines; and many nephews and nieces.
A Celebration of Life for her will be held at a future date, to be determined.
