Hard to believe it's been a year that you've been gone.  Still seems like yesterday.  I Loved how patient you were when I'd visit and you'd let Elaine and I talk...talk...talk:)))  Absolutely the Best Husband to Elaine and Dad to little Christian and Andrew.  Miss that smiling face!!!

Christian was one of the nicest guys I'd ever had the pleasure of meeting while working at Brooks Rehabilitation. I had helped him several times with his tablet computers, and of course we would get to talking while I did. He was such a genuinely nice person, with a very rare and uniquely spiritual personality. I honestly can't explain it with words, but he always brought a sense of peace and happiness with him wherever he went.  Needless to say, I was shocked when he passed away.  It's so true how they say that it's always the good ones that leave us far too soon.  I will always miss Christian, and will never forget his amazing spirit.  

Dear Elaine, 

My heart is with you and the boys this Christmas season🙏  I’ve just learned about Christians passing and wanted to send you some love and prayers! I always enjoyed teaching Christian Jr swim lessons and seeing you all at the pool. Christian Sr was always just the most kind man, fun and smart. I just remember his 100% supportive  attitude towards his boys. I’m praying Gods blessings to  lift you all up, this Christmas season and always❤️ 

I will truly miss our friendly competitions while racing half marathons/marathons with Christian. I would often lead him for 11 miles at which time he would always catch me and beat me to the finish line! Maybe he was running a smarter race and/or I was just getting more fatigued than him. He was always an excellent, consistent runner and I often learned  training strategies from him, often comparing our training injuries and rehab strategies. I will run all further River Runs in his honor, gazing up to heaven, while standing at the start line awaiting the cannon start. I will also miss being able to discuss medical strategies/ideas with him, for improving patient function with our home health care. Until we meet again Christian, may you rest in peace. I will miss you brother!

So heartbroken hearing this. 
I was a recent patient of Christians. 
I remember telling him how cool his last name was and he told me how his brother named his son Jason, or something like that, don’t quite remember what family member did but I remember being like of course, it’s only right ! Lol. 
Dang Christian, who saw this coming but the Lord ? Peace and blessings to his family and friends and coworkers and patients. 
And thank you for everything. 

I have many memories of Christian through the years at the many kid birthday parties, school functions, and swim meets and other events we both attended for our children together. The last time I was with Christian was this summer at orientation for Episcopal for his son Andrew. Christian was a solid, genuine, and kind person that loved his boys and wife so much.  I admired him for his kindness, genuineness, and involvement with his family, and he was damn smart! He will be missed greatly and the loss to our community is significant. Godspeed my friend!!! 

Christian and I went to First Coast Christian school our last 3 years of high school where we were on the flag football team and graduated as seniors together.  He was very motivated to be the best in all he did, especially when it was telling others about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  After hearing about his passing, I wanted to remember the good times we had at school together and enjoyed seeing that his parents purchased a section in the yearbook where they proclaimed their love for their son and had the Bible verse Proverbs 3:5-6 was written out.  This verse has been my life long verse and tells the best way I know to follow Christ.  Oh what a glorious day it will be when our tears are wiped away and we all stand together praising our King Jesus, the King of kings. Christian brought honor to his name, his family, and to his Creator that ordered all his days by being faithful to all.  May God bless your family until you reunit with him in glory.

We are so sad to read this news.  We remember meeting Christian on a few occasions when we lived nearby.  We remember him as a kind, witty, and friendly neighbor, and a truly devoted family man.  Our love and prayers are with you, Elaine, and your precious boys.

Christian was one of the nice  guys that the world needs more of.  You could tell he was the best dad to those boys.  I always loved talking SEC football with him at the SJEDS events.   He will be missed by all.

I met Christian when I worked with him at Brooks as an RN & he was always professional as well as very skilled & knowledgeable as a PT.  He also came to see both of my parents at our home for rehab and helped them regain  their mobility & strength. He treated them with such kindness, caring & respect that  my mom said she wanted to adopt him.  He showed his Christian love to everyone he worked with, his patients, families & colleagues. I will forever be grateful to him for helping my parents and for the honor to have worked with  such a man who was a shining example of a Christian man.  He  often talked about his wife & 2 children with  love, joy, admiration & devotion  to them as a loving father & husband.  He will certainly be missed by all his friends, colleagues and family.
 This world has lost a great man & heaven has gained an angel.

I am so sorry to hear this news and pray for all his family and friends to have peace. I was in lymphedema training with Christian several years ago and worked with him on several committees with Brooks. Although I only spend that in person time with Christian for a few days, I felt that he was a friend and respected his passion for therapy, running, God and his family. Rarely do you meet someone in your life who you get to know so briefly, but feel like you know well.  I am blessed to have known Christian and am sad that he left this world so soon!  Although I never met his family, I pray that you smile as you remember Christian and feel peace in the time you spent with him and know you will see him again.

What a terrible loss. I have such fond memories of Christian’s kindness toward my son Brody at SplashJax- Brody was obsessed with all things military and planes and he would patiently listen to Brody’s questions and stories about them and share his wonderful stories as well. We feel so privileged to have known him. 

While we can all quote scripture life catches us by surprise.  Boost not thyself of tomorrow , and life is a vapor.  When life is, in our estimation, cut short, God reminds us of the scriptures.  Elaine every time I pray for you and the boys my mind goes to thinking about Christian’s run.  I see him praying as he runs and asking God is he doing everything he needs to be as a good husband, father, and follower of Christ. I see Christian blinking and as he blinks he is face to face with his savior saying well done my good and faithful servant.  I will miss LSU boy and the banter but I am so blessed I do not have to say good bye but rather see you soon brother.  Family forever.  

My heart and prayers go out to all of you. I used to babysit Christian and James  when we all lived in Jacksonville. Christian was the sweetest boy. Always so quick to help, make me laugh and he was just SO smart. I loved those 2 boys so much. As life took us in different directions and miles apart, I thought about them so often and kept them in my prayers all this time.
