Last Christmas day, you called me.  I tripped over the dog to get to a quiet room and not miss your call.  I told you it was my greatest gift. During this passed year, I've called twice and left messages.  But as we always said life gets busy.  This Christmas, Today, I said I will call you again and hopefully catch you.  My heart is broken, and you my dear friend have your wings!!  Be at peace as your time with us was special and precious!  You blessed my life since we were supervisors in Orlando.  My longest, dearest, and truest friend, you will always be in my heart.  

Tom, please know that you have my most heartfelt sympathy.  Your a man of true courage and strength.  May the love and strength of your family and friends be your light during your darkest of times.

It is with deep sadness that we say farewell to Cheryl. A remarkable woman filled with optimism and strength of character...who never gave up. 
Along with her kindness, Cheryl had that special ability to let you know that she believed in each one of us; and we were all made better for having known her. 
Tom, none of us can take away the sadness you feel. I hope it is a comfort to know how much Cheryl means to us, and how much you mean to us as well. We honor your courage, and above all, the love you gave to your wife.

I had the joy to have worked with Cheryl for many years. I still have the coffe cup she gave me some 15 years ago and think of her often.
She was such sweet generous person with a heart as big as the world, and will be sorely missed. God has gained a fabulous person there in Heaven. My prayers are with the family and friends who have lost such a wonderful soul from our midst.

I have worked with Cheryl for 15 years at Bank of America.  I first met her when she was a manager in the Jax check ops area while I was supporting the check application product.  Then when she moved into a project support role we worked on the same floor in the same building several cubes apart.  Seems like everytime I passed by Cheryl's desk, she had a few moments to talk and I always enjoyed our conversations.  I hadn't see her for several years, since we both worked from home but was on calls with her for various things.

There is one thing for sure, I can say now regardless and that is that Cheryl will be missed, but that I hope to see her in Heaven.  Even now on her Office Communicator MOC note, I now see the last message she let there which is 'Life without God is like an unsharpened pencil - it has no point'.

To Tom and all of Cheryl's family and friends, I extend deepest condolences and pray that you will  find comfort in knowing that Cheryl was a beloved friend to many people across the country. I consider myself fortunate to have known Cheryl and to have worked with her. She will be missed, but also remembered as a dear friend. May peace be with you in the coming days.
