Before becoming disabled, he was a private investigator. He was a member of the NRA and a true Conservative. He prayed for President Trump and our country every day.
He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Sr.; mother, Gladys; and nephew, Mark Daniel Hodges.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Branning; stepchildren, Tiffany (Anthony) Bott and Chris (Michelle) Branning; grandchildren, Ashley Hamm and Caleb Bellinger; sisters, Gail, Cheryl, Candace, and Pam; special nieces and nephews, Sarah Beach, Daniel Rutledge, and Anthony Beach; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A Private Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 11801 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32223.
