Charles P. “Chuck” Worley, 80, passed away at his home in Glen St. Mary, FL surrounded by his loving family. Chuck is preceded in death by his wife Joyce L Worley. He was a native of Asheville NC. Chuck retired from the U.S. Navy after serving 22 years. He also served with J.S.O. Corrections for twenty years. Chuck’s surviving sibling is his sister June Rice, and brothers Ronald Worley (Pauline) and Donald Worley of Asheville, NC. His children are Bobby Schmehl (Marilyn), Danny Schmehl (Beth), Charlene Geiger ( Jimmy) Ron Worley (Carol) Don Worley (Judy), 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, July17, 2018 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Chapel, 729 Edgewood Ave South Jacksonville, FL 32205. The Funeral Service will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville FL 32205. Honors will be presented at graveside following the Service. HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERSIDE MEMORIAL PARK and FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Boulevard is serving the family.
