Charles Victor Bell, Jr, age 85, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on September 20, 2022. He was born in Jacksonville on February 3, 1937 to Charles V. Bell, Sr. and Alene Hartley. He served in the Marine Corps as an aircraft mechanic; served in the Korean Conflict and received the National Defense Service Medal. Charles married Jeanne Louise Atkinson on July 4, 1959 and had a career as a painter. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, painting and drawing.
He is survived by sons Charles V. Bell, III of Hoboken, GA, Harry George Bell (Korey) of Hilliard, FL, Donald Edward Bell (Helen) of Ludlow, PA and Timothy Jonathan Bell (Autumn) of Jacksonville, FL; granddaughters Ashley R. Bell, Victoria M. Bell, Emily R. Bell and Arryn P. Bell; also survived by 3 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son David Lee Bell.
A graveside service for Charles will be held Monday, September 26, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
