Bo will be remembered for his sense of humor, dedication to his wife and family, care for others, love of golf and baseball, and, most of all, for his commitment to Jesus Christ. A graduate of the University of South Alabama, he was a public school teacher and guidance counselor for over 40 years and coached baseball and football at the schools where he worked. He was also a longtime member of the orchestra at First Baptist Church of Jacksonville in which he faithfully played his trumpet each week.
Bo is preceded in death by his parents, Homer and Nellie Yarborough; step-mother, Hazel Yarborough; and his Aunt Mae who helped raise him following the death of his mother at age five. He is survived by Mickey, his loving wife of nearly 53 years; daughter Michelle Rippy (Scot); son Christopher (Kristina); son Clay (Jordan); 13 grandchildren Michael (Erika), Stephen (Heather), Charlotte (Nick), Ryan, Emily, Caleb, Kara, Connor, Carson, Emerson, Grayson, Barrett, and Archer; six great-grandchildren; brother Al (Sheila) of Mobile; sister Kathi (Marvin) of Mobile; and other extended family members.
