Our dear mother Carrie Lucile Allen sadly passed away on March 28th, 2023, at the age of 98. She was a wonderful mother who was always there when we needed her. She also had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Jacksonville, Florida. She enjoyed gardening and taking care of her flowers at home and her lot located in Interlachen, FL.
She was predeceased by her parents Charles M. Barlow, Clara G. Romero; her sister Grace Cowles; daughter Barbara Doyle and husband Joe Isabelle; daughters in law Shanna Doyle, Doris Doyle, Faye Doyle. She is survived by her husband Floyd T. Allen; her children Don Doyle and wife Ester Doyle, Randy Doyle, Ralph Doyle, Melvin Doyle, Rose and husband, Jim Neighbors; grandchildren Damian Doyle; great grandchildren Anna Doyle and Madison Doyle.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St. John's Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, Florida 32225.
A celebration of her life will follow the visitation at 1:00 PM with interment taking place after the ceremony.
