Carlyle Bernard Shaw

Carlyle Bernard Shaw, age 70, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on July 2, 2023. He was born in Trinidad and Tobago on October 2, 1952 to Henry H. Shaw and Winifred Shaw. He married Donnette E. Shaw on February 14, 2006. He had graduated from St. George's College and from there worked in the pharmaceutical industry.

Carlyle enjoyed painting, doing crosswords puzzles, puzzles, gardening, listening to a variety of music and playing steel pan.

He is survived by wife of 17 years, Donnette Shaw; children, Tasha Mattison, Carla Sinclair, Terrisita Osborne, Dominic Offord, Alicia Hayes, Merchelle Hayes-Sawyer, Aaron Shaw, Naomi Mozone and Carlyle Shaw, Jr.; step-children, Randy Anglin, Raphella Huntley, Segub Anglin, Sheba Anglin, Kezia Anglin, Nehemiah Anglin, Yamina Mack and Tadarryeo Herron; brothers, Cliton Shaw and Henry Shaw, Jr.; 44 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his father, Henry Shaw; mother, Winifred Shaw and sister, Marion Shaw.

A visitation for Carlyle will be held Friday, July 7, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Saturday, July 8, 2023 at 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
