SCOTT - Carl B. Scott, 88, passed away on April, 18th 2013 in Jacksonville, FL. Carl was born in Savannah, GA. He proudly served his country in the United States Army during WWII and enjoyed fishing in his free time.
He is survived by his wife, Emily; sons, Carl A. Scott (Dee) and William H. Scott (Randy); daughters, Gloria Griffis (Dan) and Cheryl Sturney (Paul); step-son, David J. Slater; sister, Gloria Berry; nephew, Scott Berry, along with 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 5pm on Sunday, April 21st in Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin. The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Monday, April 22nd in Lakewood United Methodist Church, 6133 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32217. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
