I only knew you briefly but in the short time I did get to know you, you certainly left an impact on me and I’ve never forgotten. I cannot believe I’m just finding this out today, as I drove by your cute house you loved and saw it was not lived in anymore and now understand why you never texted or called me back unfortunately.  I didn’t know any one  of your friends or family so, Thought it was strange of you to not respond and to think it’s been a year already! God, I’m so sad and my most sincere condolences to your family and Bodhi 🥀 see you on the other side handsome 🌈❤️😢

Cameron and I became friends at Hendricks Day School. He immediately stood out To me  because his infectious personality and he was very down to earth. What I always loved and respected about him was he never cared of what others thought and was always genuine to who he was and not a follower. He and I had a lot in common we both loved sports, got in our fair share of trouble and liked to make people laugh. Friends like him are hard to come bye these days. He was always happy and made you feel good when you were around his presence. Cameron was such a loyal friend I had not seen him in years and I had posted on Facebook that I needed to pickup a grill from Home Depot and bring it to my house could anyone help me? Within 10 minutes he replied to my post and said I’ll be over after work to help you. After working all day he helped me out even at 5 o’clock rush hour he did it and didn’t think twice about helping a friend. He has my ultimate respect as a human being and as a loyal-solid friend. We love you brother and we shall see each other again my friend. Good bless the Cooper  family as well my prayers are with you and your family.

I just learned of Cameron's passing today. I am heartbroken. Cameron  was so full of life and overcame all challenges through persistence and hard work, in his all too short life. I am hurting for Bill,  Mallory and family. There is no worse sorrow.  Please know my prayers are with you and that this is not the end of his story. We will see him again.

I worked with Cooper at Hoar Construction to build a project in Gainesville Florida.  We experienced some significant challenges in the field and with some of our trade partners.  When others would not, Cooper stepped up to take a lead role in pulling the field team across the finish line.  I will forever be thankful and remember him for that effort.  Evidently, Cooper righted more than one ship.

As the project progressed, my weekly trips to Gainesville meant I had time after work and away from home to spend getting to know Cooper personally.  We talked about the project, home, and past endeavors/challenges, both personally and professionally.   We would often talk about personal finances and planning for the future.  I think our discussions were therapy for both of us as we unwound from the stresses of the project.  

I attended the funeral and was touched to hear some of Cooper's history that I did not know.   My condolences to the family.  Thank you for instilling in your son and brother the work ethic, sense humor,  and friendship that Cooper displayed to me  for the couple of years I knew him.

I worked with Cameron at Campbell Plumbing. Not only was Cameron a fun guy,  he was also kind and giving and never had a bad thing to say about anyone.  When he heard that I had fallen in my house in the middle of the night and struggled to get up, he said to me, “If that ever happens again, don’t try to do it yourself, you call me no matter what time it is and I will come and pick you up.” He was a true gentleman and will truly be missed.  My condolences go out to Mr. and Mrs. Cooper and the entire family.

Cameron was always a pleasure to be around. Happy, kind. Loved hearing his stories of recovering the Costa Concordia. He loved being on the water. We pray for his family to come to a place of peace and that Hannah remembers him as he was a special uncle to her. Love you all so much.

Dear Bill, Mallory & Family
While working with Cameron's grandfather, Judge William Durden, many moons ago, I'll never forget how the Judge loved sending Cameron and Collins little notes and/or articles in the mail just to surprise them and let them know he was thinking about them.  He thought of and talked about them both every day.  Cameron is now peacefully and joyfully spending time with his beloved grandfather, and I can't even imagine which one is happier.  

Camden was a kind and caring person. He recently volunteered to move a co-worker he had never met. Everyone at Campbell Plumbing & Mechanical will miss him greatly.

Cameron moved in with my best friend Bekah and I when we rented a house on Nanas Loop in Tallahassee. I also worked with him at Keith Lawson. He was a fun guy, kept to himself and loved his dog! I remember one time when my gigantic sucker fish Gator had died, Cameron helped me get him out of the tank and bury him. I was totally grossed out and couldn’t do anything, Cameron was always willing to help even if that meant handling a nasty dead fish the size of his arm. So very sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are  with his family and everyone that knew him. 

Our team at the rescue knew there was something special about cameron from the minute we met him. He had a charm, a vibe about him that just made you want to know him. We wish we could have gotten that  opportunity . Our continued prayers for his friends, family and Bodhi. <3

So sad to hear of Cameron’s passing. He was a unique and interesting person. He was also a caring and compassionate friend. He made me laugh so much with his sayings and stories. I know Cameron is in a better place and I pray his family and friends will feel God’s strength during this time. 

I’m so saddened to hear of Cameron’s passing.  I can not imagine your heartbreak.  Cameron was a good friend to me throughout high school.  My favorite memory of him was going with The Coopers to see my very first college football game in Gainesville.  Cameron was so proud to get to watch Collins play.   It was wonderful to see him thriving these last few years on Facebook.  He will be missed.

So very sad to hear of Cameron's passing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
