Brenda Nelson, 64, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 in Orange Park, FL. She was born July 19, 1953 to William and Myrtle Poarch in Waycross, GA. Brenda loved going to the beach and was a big Georgia Bulldog fan. She worked in the Prudential claims department for 30 years and made many lifelong friends there. Brenda was a member of Westside Baptist Church and a member of the Georgia Bulldog Booster Club. Her passion was spending time with family and she was elated with the birth of her grandson in which she never missed an opportunity to hold him. Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home is serving the family. A visitation for friends will be held on Monday, August 7, 2017 from 6:00-8:00pm at the funeral home. Funeral services to be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 beginning at 11:00am with interment at Riverside Memorial Park.
