He was born October 10, 1929 in Patterson, GA.
He served in the US Army during the Korean War,
retired from Sea Board/CSX and was a member of
University Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and was a
Georgia Bulldog fan.
Family members include his loving wife of 58 years Helen,
son Robert Lynn, daughter Cynthia (Steve) Perez,
grandchildren Shawn Lynn, Adam Perez, Rachel Perez
and Heather Perez (Jimmy) Davis, great-granddaughter
Tulsa Rose Davis.
He is predeceased by his parents and 3 brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at 2pm, Saturday, March 14, 2015
at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N.,
Jacksonville.
Interment will follow in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens
