Bobby was born in Montgomery Alabama on April 24,1924. He served in the US Army in WW2, and was a VA Vet with the Carpenters Union. He loved to play his guitar and sing and had a band he played in with friends. He called himself Country Bob and he was a hard worker who couldn't sit still.
He is survived by his fiancée Marie Hunter,
He was predeceased by his children, a son Ronny G. Bruner; a daughter Practa Bruner Redfern who he called ”Baby”, and son Rickie D. Bruner.
Bob is also survived by his step son Carl Easterling; grandkids, Ronnie and Sabrina Helmly, Rebecca and Misty Bruner, Shani and Paul Easterling, and Kenny McCormick; Great grandchildren Bradley Helmly, Austin Simmons, Laura Delk, Josh Easterling, and Tyler Bruner; and one great great grandson Brantley Helmly; and grandson Mike Luke and his wife Jamie. Also surviving him are his fianceé’s children Kenny and Pepper Ward, and Debbie and Tom Harrold.
Arrangements entrusted to Hardage Giddens Funeral Home 5753 Blanding Blvd. Jax. FL 32244, where a visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday Oct 10, 2015 at 11:30 am, followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery at 1pm.
