Veteran’s Day, in Jacksonville, FL after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Robert “Bob”, and affectionately called “Pappy” is survived by his Loving Wife of 42 years,

Charolete Williams, three Children - David Senesac, Renee Senesac and Christina Senesac. He

also leaves behind eight Grandchildren - Joshua Senesac, Jessica Senesac, Amanda Hatfield,

Emily McKinley, Matthew Mclauchlan, Lindsey Mclauchlan, Jacklynn Costello and Isabella

Costello and seven Great Grandchildren - Connor, Riley, Emma, Hannah, Hunter, Tanner and

Johnny.

Robert was a 30 year Vietnam War Veteran proudly serving his county in The United States

Navy, where he earned the following decorations, medals and awards;

Robert “Bob” grew up in Jim Thorpe, PA with his two Brothers Ronald “Ronnie” & Joseph

“Joey” and Sister Sally. He was the son of Hartley Paul Williams and Mary T. Shanghnessy-

Williams. Robert graduated Jim Thorpe High School and went onto Bethlehem Business School.

Robert then enlisted in The Army National Guard serving as a Military Policeman and then

enlisted into The United States Navy serving as AECS Aviation Electricians Mate. Robert

excelled in his chosen field of Aviation Electronics with an unwavering work ethic shown in his

performance, moral courage, and dedication to The United States Navy and his Nation.

Service with honor.

After a lengthy career and proud service to his County in The United States Navy, Robert

retired from The U.S. Military in November,1992 and went onto a career with the U.S. Postal

Service and finally fully retired, deservingly, to a life of enjoying time his loving wife

Charolete and their family. If “Pappy” couldn’t be with his Grandchildren and Great Children,

“Bob” would be working to master the game of golf and solving the world’s problems during

happy hour with his buddies that he loved very much.

Viewing will be held Monday, November 18th from 6-8 pm at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills

He will be laid to rest with a Military burial - Tuesday November 19th, 11:30 AM @ The

Jacksonville National Cemetery 4083 Lannie Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32218
