Betty Watkins

Eileen Betty Watkins, 91, longtime resident of Jacksonville, passed away August 20, 2012. She was the daughter of John and Julia Eileen (Saxton) Watkins and was born on October 8, 1920 in Detroit, Michigan.

Surviving are her loving children, daughters Deborah Watkins, Beverly Kimbriel and Linda Heller (Richard), son Franklin Watkins (Adena), special granddaughter Alisha Watkins, grandchildren Duane Kimbriel (Laura), Heather Sonnenberg (Josiah), Jennifer Cooper (Frank), Coleen Gehlbach (Tim), Joshua Watkins, Laura Voss (Alan) and special great-grandchildren, Stephen Kimbriel and Trey Rivers and numerous other great grandcildren and many dear friends.

The family will greet friends on Friday, August 24, from 6:00 – 8:00 pm at Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32207. The funeral will be held on Saturday, August 25 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
