Even in her death, she lived. Betty Jo Leonard joined her husband, Benny and grandson, Ryan, in Heaven on Wednesday, September 14, 2016. She passed in her home filled with love from her family.
Her passion for her family was infectious, and family was never just those branched by a tree. She loved deeply. Once you were in her heart, you were there forever. She carried her Southern roots from the way she talked to the way she cooked. Never too busy to throw a party and loving to entertain, she enjoyed Bunco with her Babes and dinners with her Club 57. She will be profoundly missed by her children, Debbye, Tammy, Hunt, Rodney, their spouses, grandchildren and great- grandchildren and countless others whom she adored and considered family.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Monday, September 19, 2016 at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at The Hardage-Giddens, Town & Country Chapel. Interment will follow in Riverside Memorial Park.
