Betty J. Lee

Betty Jean Lee, 80, walked thru the gates of heaven on August 12, 2018 from her final home in Jacksonville, FL. Waiting for her at those gates she seen her Mama for the first time, seen her Billy Lee, her Steffi, her Meagan and her sister Charlotte.

She was born April 30, 1938 to Fred and Georgia Bell. She is survived by her 5 Children; Denise, Herb, Linda, Kim and Michael, along with her 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren and so many others that have loved her and her baby, Buddy.

Betty, who everyone called "Mama" was the foundation of our family. She gave all of us strength and showed us we could accomplish anything that we set our minds to. Her golden heart stopped beating and hardworking hands are at rest. God broke our hearts to prove to us He only takes the best. Rest in peace Mama, be with the Angels in heaven. We all will miss you every day.

A Graveside service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Chapel Hills Memory Garden, 850 St. Johns Bluff Rd. N. Jacksonville, FL 32225. Following, a Celebration Gathering of Betty Jean's life will be held at the family's residence.
