She was a member of the Church of Christ and loved to read.
She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Argo Britt and her daughter, Judy Ann Britt.
Betty is survived by her sons, Robert Louis Britt of Jacksonville, Charles Edward Britt of South Carolina; Daughters, Cathy Marie Suggs of South Carolina, Clara Marie Britt of Jacksonville, and her brother, Robert Payne of Randleman, North Carolina.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Aging True and Meals on Wheels.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, June 11, 2018 in Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home with Deacon Bob Repke as officiant, followed by interment in Chapel Hills Memory Gardens.
