Basdeo (Channa Man) is survived by his children, Joey, Navin, Tasha and Moshmie. His grandchildren, Rafena, Rehana, Jaffar, Taahira, Elijah, Ashraf, Joshua, and Azad. His sister Jean and brothers Dhillip and Tulsie and their children Basdeo was born in Guyana on October 6, 1956, to John and Bephia Samaroo. He worked as a Goldsmith. In November of 1975 he married the love of his life Seraphine. Basdeo was a devoted father. He enjoyed playing Dominoes and Cards. He loved to watch cricket and western movies and singing and dancing to Indian and the golden oldies music. He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him.
A visitation for Basdeo will be held on Saturday, November 12, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with funeral service following, starting at 11:00 AM, at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Chapel, 4801 SAN JOSE BLVD, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32207.
