Audrey K. Gillen

Audrey K. Gillen, 92, entered into rest on April 13, 2012. She was born on May 13, 1919 in Dublin, GA. Prior to her marriage, she lived most of her life in Gainesville, FL. Audrey was a member of Riverside Baptist Church. She enjoyed making contributions of helping others, which was evident by her lengthy careers in nursing, real estate sales and working at the Florida Times-Union. Audrey is preceded in death by her husband, M.C. Gillen and son, Mike Gillen. She is survived by her son Steve Gillen; grandchildren, Karen Gillen and Christopher Wilson; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; dear friends Lisa Cusimano and David Ojeda. The family visitation to greet friends will be held from 12-2 pm, Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Funeral service will follow at 2 pm, both held in the funeral home chapel.
