Angela Lynn Byers

Lynn was born on November 16, 1968 in Tallahassee, FL to her parents, Jim and Linda Gandy. She graduated from the University of North Florida with an Arts History degree and a Photography minor in 1996. She married William Byers in 2001. After the birth of their son, Liam, Lynn dedicated her life to raising and homeschooling Liam, while caring for their beloved family home.

Lynn was a dedicated wife and mother as well as a talented homeschool teacher. She taught Art history, Greek mythology & chess to the Homeschool co-op. Lynn was considered by many people to be their best friend, as she never met a person she did not welcome with open arms.

Lynn is survived by her husband, William Joseph Byers and her son, William Harrison Byers; her parents, Jim and Linda Gandy; her brother, James Gandy; her stepdaughters, Brittany Schachter, Morgan Byers, and Monica Byers; as well as three grandchildren, Brooke Schachter, Tyler Schachter and Ella Schachter.

Lynn will be remembered in a celebration of life on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Fletcher Park in San Marco. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Lynn’s life. In lieu of flowers, please donate to Daniel Kids or Affordable Housing Inc.
