Angel Raji Hakim, age 75, passed away on December 1, 2013. She was born April 13, 1938 in Jerusalem, Palestine. Angel was an adoring wife, loving and dedicated mother and grandmother. All throughout her life she maintained a sweet demeanor; her beautiful smile and laughter will be dearly missed as she won the trust and hearts of every one who knew her. She is survived by her loving husband Raji A. Hakim of 58 years, her children, Ameen Hakim, Ayman (Zahie) Hakim, Iman (Chakib) Chahin, 8 grandchildren, Tabitha Hakim, Tiffany Hakim, Raji Hakim, Alexander Hakim, James Hakim, Katrina Chahin, Mona Chahin and Peter Chahin. Visitation will begin at 5 PM today; Wednesday, December 4, 2013, with a Trisagion at 6:00 PM at St. George Antiochian Church, 6300 Bowden Road, Jacksonville, officiated by the Very Reverend Fr. Kamal al-Rahil. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM on Thursday, December 5th, at St. George. Interment will be at Greenlawn Cemetery. Arrangements by Greenlawn Funeral Home, 4300 Beach Boulevard.
