He was born in Adel, GA in late December of 1938. Alvie received his G.E.D. at FCCJ and was married to Connie McNeil Hamm on June 21, 1958.
Alvie LaRue worked in food sales for Sunnyland Foods & O’San Products Inc. He was a member of Cedar Hills Baptist Church and had a passion
for fishing, gardening, & spending time with his family.
Alvie is survived by his wife Connie McNeil Hamm, his son Randy (Debbie) Hamm, and his daughters Vicky (Scott) Martin and Cindy (Randy) Branesky.
He also leaves to cherish his memory 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3pm on Thursday April 21, 2016 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. Arrangements are under the care of Town & Country Funeral Home 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205 (904) 781-9262.
