Just sent a reminder to the Denmark girls on the great times we had with Lisa. She played the teacher for Sabrina and me (Melissa) a lot of fun days!!!!!

It has been 3 years since I have heard your voice. You shared a lot but you kept a lot from me. We shared the same burial wishes but it included which of us who remained alive. Your last words to me were that you were in a hospital and you told Darius to contact me if needed. The next correspondence to me was to inform me of your passing. I am sad that I never had a chance to comfort you, to tell you how much as sisters I loved you or to make sure you got the best care. I miss my confidante, my ride-or-die, the person who I could always call and get the "tea" on the happenings in Jax..lol.
I am retired. We are supposed to be traveling to get "sum'n to teet" , cracking jokes to each other or just waking each other up by phone or talking until we go to sleep. Love ya girl and miss you like crazy.

It's been two years today for my best friend Lisa is RIP.

Hi Family, I miss my friend, When ever she would call me, she would but a smile on my face, because she address me as Hey Lussa and would say Hey Lissa. We met in 2nd grade at S.P. Livingston. She played a hugh part in our growing year with much advise on Life, Saving and Education .
A is a pharse from a movie I recalled that said that some Birds are not meant to be Caged forever... Lissa and my dear Mother, the Late Mrs. Mildred Blackmon Denmark... fit this saying forever they are both dearest to my heart! RIP my Loves

Well, we always said "minimum due to 62" which would signify our retirement age. I have retired and you are resting in the arms of Jesus.  Our lives mirrored except I became a RN and you became a LPN. I married twice and you were smart to stay single all your life..lol.

So surprisingly for me, I just found out today, Tuesday 7/20/2021 my Best friend Lisa has gone to be with her Lord. She told me what her wishes were and now I will forever remember all the good times we had starting in the 2nd grade at S.P. Livingston Elementary School. Rest in Pease Lisa from Lissa

I never thought that the day would come that we would never talk again. We have been thru so much together since birth. We supposed to be on the phone talking about the happenings going on in the city. You knew the story. Our lives mirrored each other. We had a sisterhood like no other. We laughed, we got mad at each other but we still loved each other.
Licia Laverne, the name I called you: I am in disbelief and lost. You were my confidante, my ride or die. A peice of me died with you. I love and miss you tremendously. I visited your mausoleum today. It is real that you are gone.
