Alicia Breanah Mims, daughter of David Jr. and Maribel Mims, was born on October 17,1999. She departed this life on Thursday, September 28, 2023. She was a native resident of Duval County for the majority of her life. For a short period, she resided in Clinton, Md. She graduated from Atlantic Coast High School in 2019. Throughout school, Alicia participated in various sports which include, basketball, soccer, volleyball, and swimming. She was an avid swimmer and participated on the swim team when she resided in Maryland and won several competitions.
Alicia was formerly employed as a customer service representative for State Farm for a short stint and worked at various fast food restaurants.
Alicia knew and loved God. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Rafael Alfredo Reyes. Other surviving relatives including her parents David & Maribel Mims, is a beautiful baby boy named Ezra Pogue whom she loved unconditionally. Aunt: Marisol Chang; Great Aunt: Leslie (Tony) Vasquez; Great Uncles: Efrain (Alice) Chang; Mario Chang; First Cousins: Jonathon Zayas and Brandon Wright; Godmother: Jessica Enriquez; Godfather: Tony Vasquez; Special Friend: Alyssa Phillips.
A visitation for Alicia will be held Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A celebration of life will occur Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL 32225. A committal service will occur Thursday, October 5, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Greenlawn Cemetery, 4300 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32207.
