Alice M. Warner

Alice M Warner, age 89, of Jacksonville, Florida passed on peacefully to be with our Lord on Monday, September 30, 2024. Alice was born on January 13, 1935 in New Bern, NC, and raised in the Methodist Orphanage in Raleigh, NC where she was an active alumnus.

Alice loved spending time with her large family who all deeply loved and cared for her as she did each and every one of them. She also greatly enjoyed crafting and sharing her creations with those she loved. Other moments were spent enjoying playing Bingo with friends, shopping garage sales, and enjoying a great day at the beach. Her zest and love for life, and all things that that includes, was not just shared with her family but something that she passed on to every life she touched, and will live on in the memory of every moment spent with her.

Alice is predeceased by her husband, Maurice (Maurie) Warner; her sister, Marjorie Haston; and her brother, Charlie (Buddy) Mason.

Alice is survived by her sister, Ann Oosterhoudt and her five children, Kathy Dennehy (Bud), Nick Gutierrez (Tammy), Vicki Brannen (Stanley), Tracy Gutierrez (Jodi), and Debra Hoegen (Joseph McFarlane). Also her grandchildren, Jamie Bailey, Stephanie Bailey, Christopher Bailey, Megan Hogan, Nathan Hogan, Rebecca Withers, Samantha Allen, Jason Brannen, Michael Ramey, Craig Rocha, Lesli Gutierrez, Gage Crews and Griffin Bennett. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held for Alice on October 15, 2024 at 10 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens Chapel Hills Funeral Home, 850 St Johns Bluff Road North, Jacksonville, FL, 32225. The Memorial Service will follow at 11 a.m. Alice's Committal Service will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32218.
