Alice was born on September 9, 1927 in Ocala, FL to J.E. Emmonds and Juanita Thelma Pruitt. She worked for Anchor Hocking Glass for many years. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles and also enjoyed fishing.
Alice is survived by her son, Melvin Smith; daughter, Rita Collingwood; son, Allan Loos; ten grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Horace Pittman and one son, Charles Loos.
A visitation for Alice will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. A committal service will follow the funeral service at Riverside Memorial Park.
