Alfred W. Burkhard, 79, passed away May 12, 2020. Born in Queens, NY. on July 22, 1940 to John and Emma Burkhard. He joined the Navy in 1962 and was stationed at VP-16 NASJax. He retired from Xerox Corp. in Jax.
Family members include his wife Sandy Burkhard, daughter Mia Burkhard, step-sons: Jason Hunter (Xavier) and Adam Hunter (Evelyn), grandchildren Andrew Burkhard, MacKenzie, Alex, Addison and Troy Hunter.
Visitation will be held from 6-8pm, Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Hardage-Giddens Oaklawn Legacy Lodge. A celebration of life will be held at 2pm, Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Legacy Lodge. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
