Albert Ronald Lloyd, 77, went to be with our Lord and became another angel in Heaven on June 15, 2015. He was born on February 24, 1938 in Baldwin, FL to Alma and Walter Lloyd. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and, in the past, was a Volunteer Fireman for Jacksonville. He began his professional career as a custom home builder and renovation specialist and was a member of the Northeast Florida Builder’s Assn. Albert had a love for all types of water sports. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed boating, skiing and had a passion for teaching others how to enjoy the sport as well. He was a big supporter of NASCAR (go #88), and the University of Florida (how ‘bout them Gators!) and enjoyed many road trips to races and games in his motor home with his family and friends. Albert is predeceased by his parents, Alma and Walter Lloyd and his son, Tommy Lloyd. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Robbie; daughter, Tina Masters; son, Toby Lloyd; grandchildren, Christopher (Ashley) Lloyd, Matthew Binkley and Tiffany Binkley; great granddaughter, Sloane Harper Lloyd; great grandson, Gavin Binkley; brother, Earl Lloyd and half-sister, Shirley Wall. Albert was of Baptist faith and had a strong love for our Lord and although he will be missed dearly by his family and numerous friends, we know we will meet again. Family and friends will gather at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home of Mandarin on Saturday, June 27 from noon until time of memorial service at 1 p.m.
