Adrienne Wilson was born on August 2nd, 1925 in Bainet, Haiti to Marie Sainte Juin and Rodrigue Georges. At an early age, her parents moved to Port-au-Prince, Haiti for her to attend school. At twenty, she met her husband Max Turenne Wilson to whom she married and chose to spend her life with. Together, they had 10 children. Their first born, Roosevelt passed away in early childhood. They then moved from Haiti to Chicago in search of a better life, where they raised nine beautiful children: Marie C. Muscadin, Guy Wilson, Mireille W. Michel, Max Wilson Jr. (who passed away at the age of 32), Carl Wilson, Ketty Paul, Yvrose Wilson, Jéan Eddy Wilson Sr. and Jude Wilson. Proud of their own accomplishments, accompanied with their children’s education and achievements, they happily retired in 1976 and moved to Jacksonville, Florida. One by one, their children followed and the family was soon reunited. Mom and Pop had an affinity for travel and trotted across the globe for several years. Adrienne’s husband Max passed away in 2008, at the age of 85, of heart complications. Even after Pop’s passing, Maman continued to spend summers traveling with her daughters and granddaughters. Once she was no longer able, she spent that time in Orlando being spoiled rotten by her Orlando family, who referred to her as their “precious package”.
With a constant smile on her face, the family learned that Adrienne developed pancreatic cancer although she was already currently dealing with other health issues, which included dementia. Maman leaves behind her eight children, 25 grandchildren, 39 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren and countless adopted family members.
