Susan Charlene Leonard

Susan C. Leonard, 75, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away May 6, 2018. She was born in Detroit, Michigan on June 10, 1942. Susan graduated from Illinois State University and received a Bachelor of Science majoring in Education. She was married to Frank H. Leonard on May 30, 1967. Susan had a career in education for over 30 years in several states including a long time in the Duval County Public School system and had a passion for books. Her husband, Frank; son, Philip A. Leonard; and grandchildren, Owen and Colin Leonard, survive her. The family will receive friends from 7-9 pm Thursday, May 17th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday May 18th at the Jacksonville National Cemetery.
