He was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on December 27, 1936.
He was married to Jan Nakrob Figueroa.
Ramon, after serving in the Airforce, briefly enjoyed working as a chauffeur and body guard to entertainment personalities and the social elite of New York City, prior to settling into his career of electrician till his retirement.
Ramon enjoyed classic car restoration, model building, and home improvement projects. He also loved his pets, as well as music, dancing, bowling, fishing, golf and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jan Figueroa and previous wife, Lucrecia Figueroa; daughter Audrey Serrur and son Raymond (Pamela) Figueroa; sister Enid (Louis) Silva; brother Emilio (Josephine) Figueroa; grandchildren, Mariel (Kether) Parker, Nicole (Louis) Natkin and Ezra Serrur; and great grandchildren, Sophia, Violet, Solomon, Seven and Nova.
He is preceded by his parents, Emilio and Monserrate; and brother Angel.
