

Oliver I. Watts, 91, went home to be with the Lord on March 20, 2014 with his daughters by his side. He was born October 25, 1922 in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY, son of Harry and Pearl Watts. He was a descendent of the early colonists who settled on Long Island in 1649. Oliver honorably served our country during World War II in the Pacific Theater as a Flight Engineer in the US Army Air Forces.
He was predeceased by his loving wife of 40 years, Anna and his son, Gary. Oliver is survived by his children, Kathleen Wohlenberg (Richard) and Karen McCarthy (Dennis); 3 grandchildren Krista Bastianelli (Seth), Anna McCarthy and Caleb McCarthy; and 2 great-grandchildren Sofia and Annabel. He will always be remembered for his happy and serving spirit. Oliver loved his family and his Lord and Savior. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 11 – 11:30am on Saturday, March 29 at O.B. Davis Funeral Home, 2326 Middle Country Rd. Centereach, NY 11720, with the service following directly after the viewing at the funeral home.
