He was born in Yokohama, Japan on December 7, 1951. Michael Alan Rose graduated from South Broward High School with a high school diploma. When he was in the United States Army, he earned his Teletype Repairman degree from the USA Southeastern Signal School in Fort Gordon, Georgia.
He was married to Deborah Anne Evans on March 20, 1998 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Michael Alan Rose had a career as a driver for Uber and worked for decades in the printing industry. He was a Military Veteran and honorably discharged from the United States Army. While in the United States Army, he earned a National Defense Service Medal for his service. He had a passion for rock music, spending time with his granddaughters, and researching and cataloging the Rose family ancestry.
Michael is preceded in death by his parents, Theresa Caroline Dodson Rose and Stanley Wayne Rose, his son, Nicholas Jay Rose, his stepdaughter, Whitney Leigh Locklair, and his brothers, Stanley Wayne Rose II and James Walter Rose.
He is survived by his wife, Deborah Anne Evans - Rose. Also survived by his former wife, Deborah Vollman and there children, son Justin Dale Rose (Lauren), his daughter, Stephanie Brianna Rose (Eddie), his granddaughters, Gabrielah Perez and Julianna Perez, his sisters, Katherine Alice Rose Wylie (Butch) and Elizabeth Ann Rose Davis (Donald), his brother John Thomas Rose, and many nieces and nephews.
A Military Graveside Service will be held on Friday April 21, 2023 at 1pm Lane # 2 at the
Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road Jacksonville FL, 32218.
