WHITE, MARYANN JONES, 77 passed away on May 25th, 2016. She graduated from Fletcher High School, Class of '57. Maryann worked while in high school first for Franklin's 5&10 then for The Beach Bank, both on old Pablo Avenue, Jacksonville Beach. After graduation, she continued to work for The Beach Bank until it was purchased by Southeast Bank becoming V.P. In-Charge of Loan Collection. She married Inman White in Dec. 1984, retired from banking and moved with her husband, first to Brooksville for a couple of years then to their home in Old Town, FL on the Suwannee River where she and Inman enjoyed life together.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Inman, parents, Monroe and Velma Jones, She is survived by her two brothers, Charles Byron Jones, sister-in-law, Monika, Wayne Jones, sister-in-law, Glenda Smith Jones, sister Judy Smith and brother-in-law, Bonnie I. (Butch) Smith Jr., 5 nieces, 1 nephew, 7 great nephews, 2 great, great nephews and 1 great, great niece. Maryann was loved and respected by family and friends. She will be sadly missed. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hardege-Giddens Funeral Home. She will be interned next to her beloved husband, Inman, in H. Warren Smith Cemetery, Jacksonville Beach.
