Linda Ann Marquis Olson

Linda Ann (Marquis) Olson, age 73, of Jacksonville, FL passed away on March 2 at Baptist Medical Center Beaches. Born in Manchester, NH on January 17, 1943, Linda received her nursing license from the Framingham Union School of Nursing and worked as a nurse for many years in a variety of settings. She married Dennis Olson on 4/30/66 and they had their son, Michael, in 1972. Linda lived in many different places throughout her life and found things to enjoy about each new city.

She was a kind, caring woman who had an easy time making friends and an easier time lending a hand. Her desire to nurture was clear in her nursing career and in the way she improved so many of the lives around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Olson, and her father Vincent Marquis. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy (Drake) Marquis, son Michael Olson and wife Heather, granddaughters Megan and Emily Olson, close friend Frank Harkcom, sisters and brothers, Jean (Marquis) Dempsey, Vincent Marquis, Diane (Marquis) & her husband William Woodward, Paul & his wife Tammy Marquis and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
