BRUNKE- Lawrence Joseph Brunke, 78, passed away May 17, 2011. He retired after 38 years from Jacksonville Shipyards. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Mildred; son, Michael (Sheri); daughters, Karen (Neal) and Laurie (Terry); 3 brothers, Edward, Robert, and Gerald; 10 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 20, 2011, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach. Interment will follow in Mayport Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
