

Kenneth C. Rogosheske (Ken) immediately began life with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 23, 2012, after a long illness. He was born on September 14, 1921, to the late John W. Rogosheske and Johanna Rogosheske, in Sauk Rapids, MN.
Ken was predeceased by Regina Rogosheske, his loving wife of 65 years.
He leaves to cherish his memory two daughters: Jeannie Roman (Roger) Atlantic Beach, FL and Nancy Furnas (Wayne) Jacksonville, FL; five grandchildren: Scott Roman (Tanya) St. Johns, FL; Shawn Roman (Lisa) Oviedo, FL; Abigail Furnas Newport, TN; Jeremy Furnas (Allison) Jacksonville, FL; Jon Furnas (Margaret) Jacksonville, FL; three great-grandchildren: Jace Roman, St. Johns, FL; Savannah Roman Oviedo, FL; and Eryn Stefano Jacksonville, FL; two sisters and a brother in Sauk Rapids, MN: Lanice Jans (Harold); Inette Smith and Leonard Rogosheske (Judy). He also has a 94 year old brother-in-law in Reedsburg, WI, Rudy Neumann. Ken has many special nieces and nephews throughout the USA and has many friends from Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Jacksonville Beach and Sevilla Condominiums in Atlantic Beach.
Ken joined the US Naval Reserve (Seabees) and proudly served his country in World War II in Kodiak, Alaska and the Guam Invasion. He reached the rank of Chief Yeoman (T).
Ken was the past Chairman of the Board of Elders of Holy Cross Lutheran Church, Jacksonville, FL and Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Jacksonville Beach, FL. As an Elder at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Jacksonville Beach; Past President of Selva Marina Country Club, Atlantic Beach; Past Chairman of the Atlantic Beach Code Enforcement Board; Past Financial Officer and Advisor Lynch Management Co., Jacksonville, FL; Past CEO of Car Lease Company, West Allis, WI; and co-author of Leasing Standards and Procedures.
Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6-8pm Wednesday, September 26 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. The service will begin 11am Thursday, September 27 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1423 North Eighth Ave. Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250 with an hour viewing prior to service. Pastor Dana Allen Brones will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Beaches Memorial Park in Atlantic Beach. A reception will be held at Bethlehem Lutheran Church following the burial.
