John Daniel Connor, 72, formerly of Fair Haven and Howell, NJ died Saturday, October 28, 2023 at the Palm Garden in Jacksonville, FL. He was born in Red Bank, NJ to James W. and Dorothy V. (McDonald) Connor. He was a devoted husband, father, son and brother. John enjoyed simple pleasures like watching the Giants on Sundays, fishing, and sitting on the beach enjoying the ocean. He always found time to check in with family, and his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.
John is survived by his wife of 49 years, Tina (nee Geronimo), daughter Christina Willever and husband Daniel, son John D. Connor and wife Mindy and stepson Jaron, sisters Dolores "Dee" Morrissey of Tinton Falls, Patricia "Trish" DePonti and husband Steven of Red Bank, brothers Michael and wife Dale of Fair Haven, and Timothy D. and wife Lori of Ivorytown, CT, and sister-in-law Nancy Connor. He is predeceased by his parents, Dorothy and James W., and brother, James T. Connor.
