The son on Robert William Horner and Bela Elza Cameron, Jack spent his youth in Birmingham, Atlanta, Auburn, AL, and West Point, NY. He especially enjoyed summers with cousins, brothers and friends at the Cameron family ancestral home in Notasulga, AL.
