Looking at the picture standing to the left of Harvey is Susan Ryan and to the right is me. 
One of the things I loved best about Harvey is that he always talked about his wife. He had so much love for her. 
I admired the way he continued to work and volunteer for our community. 
Harvey was proud to be a veteran and loved that he served his country.

The members of Jacksonville Elks #221 give our condolences to Harvey's family.  Harvey was a 59-year member of our Lodge, and a Past District Deputy GER in 1987.
We will hold our Annual Memorial Service on December 7, 2025 for Harvey and other departed members, which is open to all.
Rest in peace Harvey, you will never be forgotten.

I met Harvey when we were both members of Springfield Presbyterian Church and also when we attended Andrew Jackson High School.    I had seen him over the years at our High School Reunions and 
I have fond memories of our friendship.

I am so sorry to hear of Harvey's passing, I met him while he and I were volunteering as COPs for JBPD.  He was a good person.

This photo is of Harvey and I on our First Coast Honor Flight to visit the war memorials in Washington DC. I have great memories of Harvey and his wife, Janice, but this is truly of the best. I will always be proud of his service and will miss the gentleman he was. They REALLY don’t make them like him anymore!

Sympathy and prayers to your loss of your father. I was in the ARCVLSC with him and used to see him at the annual “Chop & Chomp” event. He was a great guy!

Cherie, I was honored to know your dad as a neighbor and friend over the last nine years. It took work to begin to get to know Harvey, but over time I learned of his jazz band, his Vietnam service and about his volunteer work with the Jax Beach police and the veterans memorial park. Your dad’s devotion to your mom was constant. He was a bit gruff, totally honorable and just a fine gentleman. I’m so glad to have known him.
