George had a passion for music, karate, muscle cars and motorcycles. He was a self-taught musician, starting at a young age. Over the years, he played keyboard for Skytrain and other local bands. He earned his Shodan blackbelt in Shotokan and Aikido from Porter's United House
of Karate. He was an ASE certified Master mechanic. He was co-owner with Dean “Deano" Gill of East Coast Powder Coating for over a decade. He truly was a jack of all trades.
