Donald G. Doran, 92, passed away June 8, 2010. He was a longtime resident of Jacksonville Beach and member of St. Pauls Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served his country during WWII and retired from the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Patrick Doran; wife, Lillian Doran; brother, Joseph Patrick Doran, Jr.; sister, Alice Lennartz; nephew, Joseph Patrick Doran, III and niece Maryann Doran. Survivors include his nieces and nephew, Kathleen Jones, Virginia Ross, Barbara Terzo and Francis Michael Lennartz and their families.
A visitation will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. Thursday at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach, FL. Graveside services will be led by Fr.
