Dolores “Dolly” Margaret Whyte, 93, passed away peacefully on March 20, 2014. Dolly was born on July 7, 1920 in Pittsburgh, PA. She moved to the Beaches area in 1973 and was currently living in Cypress Village.
Dolly was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Colin C. Whyte. She is survived by her children, Judith (Tom) Westerheide of Sidney, OH; Jacqueline (Frank Wagner) of Boston, MA; Jeffrey of the Beaches area; Janine of Jacksonville, FL; and Jonathan of Fernandina Beach, FL. Dolly is also survived by her 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Private funeral services will be held on Monday and a memorial service will be celebrated in Dolly’s honor at Cypress Village at 3pm Monday, March 24.
